Facial Approximation of an African Young Adult. The skeletal remains of a young African were exhumed at the archaeological excavation site on former Largo do Espirito Santo cemetery in Bucelas. The remains belong to a young adult female 18 to 21 years of age. The skeletal remains do not show signs of trauma or pathologies. Her skull reveals deliberate modification of the shape of the incisors, sharpened to a point. The facial approximation was commissioned by the Câmara Municipal de Loures, Portugal.
