Facial Reconstruction
Facial Approximation of an African Young Adult. The skeletal remains of a young African were exhumed at the archaeological excavation site on former Largo do Espirito Santo cemetery in Bucelas. The remains belong to a young adult female 18-21 years of age. The skeletal remains do not show signs of trauma or pathologies. Her skull reveals deliberate modification of the shape of the incisors, sharpened to a point. The facial approximation was commissioned by the Camara Municipal de Loures, Portugal.
